The infoworld article below talks about efforts to take tablets mainstream by attacking one of the problems – price.
Like they say further down though, that itself is not enough – there needs to be greater awareness and a closer-tighter partnership with retail channels.
How useful would a Microsoft Showcase Store be for this… alone the lines of Apple Stores.

Oh also, I do hope that HP puts out an upgrade to the TC1100 with a bigger keyboard – not the 4200.

I’m glad HP is aiming for business market. Hopefully, then we’ll keep seeing performance Tablet PCs. Will be interesting to see.
